Description | Standing male; lower right leg, left foot and right hand lost. Left arm held down with hand open for lost caduceus; petasos with left wing lost. No visible facial features (Pitts). The petasos is large and brimmed, the left leg at an odd angle below the knee. Fairly simple rendering. Thighs still joined, also left arm and upper right arm connected to body. Vertical groove from neck to knees depicts backbone/buttocks/thighs on the back. Right arm bent at elbow, probably had purse in hand. |
