| 3500bc - 2500bc | Rock tomb below cave or rock shelter. Layer 4 of the rock shelter itself contained two round bottomed Neolithic bowls of the Windmill Hill type, an adult male skull c40 and the remains of a child c13. In the rock tomb rather below the rock shelter and measuring c0.9m square, was human skeletal material of 1 male, 1 child c6-7, 1 female, 1 child c9 and a foetus. |
