| 2500bc-14/1300bc | A round barrow with a mound of rubbly stone, where the primary interment was not found, but there were secondary deposits of burnt bones with charcoal and grey ashes in a black urn, in a rock cut pit 0.3m across x 0.33m deep near the south margin of the barrow; and in a pit 2.4m from the last were coarse black potsherds, charcoal, and traces of burnt bones. Within a retaining circle of stones on the north side was a third pit containing black potsherds and charcoal. |
