| 8/700bc-100bc | A settlement with evidence for occupation from 5th Century BC to the Late 3rd-4th Centuries AD. There were two phases in the Mid-Late Iron Age, IA 5th-3rd Centuries, and IB 3rd-1st Centuries BC. There was a break in occupation then to cAD45. There were c40 Iron Age pits, and in the bottom of Pit 204 there was the burial of a child c4-5, but fragments of human cranium and human finger bones were also found elsewhere on the site of this period. |
