| 2500bc-14/1300bc | In the west side of a barrow, a cairn covered a large upright two handled biconical Middle Bronze Age urn containing a cremation (black and oily with bits of white projecting), associated with half of a hammerstone and a small perforated triangular (originally square) stone, perhaps a spindle whorl. The urn stood on a very clean floor, and was packed around with handy sized spar stones. |
