| 2500bc-14/1300bc | A platform mound of turf and clay, no human skeletal material or trace of burial, and one trace of fire in association with a small cairn of quartz (F1), concealed in the mound. On the east kerb was a small quartz cairn in a bed of charcoal (F2) which produced the carbonised remains of a wooden frame, and further out was a post hole (F3) in which the object had stood. The miniature collared urn was found in a pit to the east with charcoal associated and some evidence of organic (adipocere) content. Holed stones and worked flints were also found. RC: from charcoal in F2 HAR-6635 1630 +/- 70 |
