| 2500bc-14/1300bc | A disturbed round barrow with encircling ditch, the mound much reduced. A near central deposit of burnt bones had been placed in a bowl shaped depression formed of stones. Nearby were flints and a few pieces of pottery. At 2.3m to the south of centre were some burnt bones in a heap, and pottery, but nearby were signs of more recent disturbance (bronze articles of the 15th Century were recovered). There were other scatters of burnt bone. |
