| 2500bc-14/1300bc | A round barrow with a pentagonal cist a few feet from the east side, with a burnt earthen floor 10-12cm deep, containing fragments of cremated human skeletal material, and a small very fine oval flint scraper in one corner. This was probably a secondary interment of the Middle Bronze Age. The primary interment may have been in a pit overlooked by the excavator. |
