| 14/1300bc-8/700bc | A bowl barrow with a possible disturbed primary interment at the centre beneath a flint heap. There were 21 cremations in the south east in three upright globular urns and 18 bucket urns, each regularly spaced c0.75m apart and each probably covered by a flat sandstone or Purbeck slab, in the south west segment of the mound. Each urn was placed in a bowl shaped shallow pit dug into the chalk subsoil through the mound. |
