| 3500bc - 2500bc | A bowl barrow with causewayed or interrupted ditch, 'its interior corresponding in great measure with the long barrows' (Hoare 1812, 54). Among several large sarsens and flints there were 7-8 inhumations, disarticulated, lying in no order, and unaccompanied by grave goods. They were covered by excavated ditch material. |
