| 2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow with on the east side a deep pit in the chalk with a large amount of charcoal and finely pulverised burnt bone. There was also: a small pit, empty; an inverted urn over a complete cremation; covering the urn was the jawbone of a cow. There was 'an irregular stratum of charcoal and burning around the barrow'. |
