| Interpretation comments | Double-ditched enclosure dated c. 1st-2nd AD. Interior of house disturbed. Good enviromental evidence from ditch: barley, spelt, emmer, oats, esp chaff, elderberry. Settlement extends up to c. 3rd? Early med. recutting of enclosure ditches and posthole. Most samian from outer ditch. |
