| Description | The body is a long drop shape with a ridge along the back. The neck is a pointed oval in section, rising from the broader end of the body; a slightly curved projection at right angles makes the head. The wings are not delineated separately; in fact there is very little detail added, with no attempt to show eyes, beak or feathers. There are no legs; instead, there is a circular-section shank on the underside, which steps in to a narrower section towards the bottom (from HER). |
