Description | The hair is worn in long wavy locks, tightly curled at the tips to frame the face; one thick strand is separated form the main mass of hair and tightly plaited, with the plait doubled back across the crown of the head and ending in a little tuft just above the forehead (Hutchinson). Stands holding the bird in the palm of his left hand and a bunch of grapes in his right. Proportions good, detail good, nice piece, just not in very good condition. |
