Description | Green incorrect, is from Avebury. Robinson - given the fact that various other pieces in the Brooke Collection are not from Wiltshire, it must be questioned whether this is also a genuine find. However, it could be. Cupid has raised right arm, looks up, left leg to rear. Large wings. Face abraded but quite finely featured. Small dimple belly button with grooves depicting rolls of fat above and below. Hair in ringlets and topknot. |
