| Description | Gilbert - solid cast in bronze or brass still retains the ball or globe on which it originally stood, which in turn was placed on an iron staff, now missing. . . [It] has a round object in its beak. . . decorated with a series of stamp-marks along its back, made up of small circles in no obviously apparent pattern, presumably representing feathers. |
