| Description | Simple snake, scales not depicted. Head rather flat and mouth open. Odd crest on head and barb below. Body curls along ground, the rises up in a loop. The head is also raised. Head flat while rest of body circular in cross-section. A small groove on the right side represents an eye. Second snake (1981-89A) is a fitting or mount. Better modelled, with scales (herringbone grooves on body and small dimples on head), deep elliptical eye sockets and open mouth. At the rear is a rectangular base for attachment. |
